Three vibrant homegrown St. Lucian artistes have come together in the spirit of community and positivity to create a pulsating uplifting track entitled "Push Push". When Naomie "Ngozi" Grandison, Christine "Chrycee" Charlemagne and Keen "The Mecca" Cotter where asked to write the theme song for the 2014 Piton Film Festival they were all very excited. Mr. Rawl 'Rossi" Alcide of Dejavu Digital Studios came on board and did a master production.
This fresh addictive track speaks to being determined and persistent on the journey to achieving your dreams. Don't listen to the naysayers, focus on your fire within and never give up, this is what message of the song is. Credit goes to Mr. Zack Popo who tastefully enhances the track with his electrical guitar solos.
Founders of the Piton Film Festival; Mr Ed Umoja Herman, Ms Kathleen Walls ( both of Sisters in Harmony) and Ms Emeyln Stuart (of the Oktober Film Festival in New York) expressed deep satisfaction with the production and look forward to the song being aired at the Film Festival in New York in October this year.

Naomie Co-Writes Piton Film Festival Theme Song
The Piton Film Festival founded by Mr. Ed Herman, a St. Lucian born US resident and founder of Sisters In Harmony, along with established producer/film maker Ms. Emerlyn Stuart of the New York Oktober Film Festival, is giving nationals a great opportunity to showcase their films and get an opportunity to be featured in New York to leaders in show business.
When I was asked to write the theme song along with fellow performer Chrycee, I was very excited. We have been in studio with producer Rawl Rossi Alcide developing a phenomenal track. It speaks of pushing forward with determination despite the nay-sayers ! Stay Tuned folks "Push Push" will be released on Sept. 4th at BLU Hotel during the Piton Film Festival slated for September 4th to 7th, 2014.

Ngozi Wins Another Monarch: Inter Commercial House 2014
It was certainly a night to remember. All geared up and excited, accompanied by #teamturningpoint #teamngozi. We were focused on doing our best to communicate the message of "addiction being a disease" very clearly. I got into character as an alcoholic, did some deep breathing to fight the nerves. All I know is, I went out there and gave it my best, representing the Alcohol and Drug Rehab Centre, "Turning Point" with pride. We all gave it our best and victory was ours in the end. I really felt the love from all #teamhealth supporters. After my performance I said hello to Ricky T and he told me that it was great performance and he was supporting me. Great hearing that from the most successful soca calypso artiste from St. Lucia. :)
